Amtrak — California

Transportation · California

Amtrak operates three intrastate California services in partnership with Caltrans: the Pacific Surfliner (San Luis Obispo to San Diego), Capitol Corridor (Auburn to San Jose), and San Joaquins (Sacramento and Oakland to Bakersfield). The state-supported services offer discounts for children, seniors, military, and groups. Pacific Surfliner is the second-busiest Amtrak route in the country, often more reliable than I-5 traffic.
